Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Eratiana Rent-a-Car. By renting a vehicle from us, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before booking.

1. Eligibility

• The renter must be at least 21 years old (or as required by UAE law).

• The renter must hold a valid UAE driving license or an international driving permit (for tourists).

• Required documents at the time of pickup:

  • Copy of passport or Emirates ID

  • Valid driving license

  • Copy of visa (for tourists)

2. Booking & Payment

• Bookings must be paid in full in advance to confirm the reservation.

• Payment methods accepted: Credit/Debit Cards, Bank Transfer, and Cash (in limited cases).

• All rates include basic insurance unless otherwise stated.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Full refund if cancelled 7 days or more before the pickup date.

• No refund for cancellations made less than 7 days before the pickup.

• Early returns and no-shows are non-refundable.

• Full refund only if the reserved vehicle is unavailable and no suitable replacement can be provided.

4. Vehicle Use Restrictions

• Vehicles must only be driven within the UAE.

• The renter is not allowed to use the vehicle for:

  • Off-road driving

  • Towing or carrying heavy loads

  • Racing or speed testing

  • Any illegal activity

• Subleasing or allowing another person to drive the car (other than the registered driver) is strictly prohibited.

5. Insurance & Liability

• Basic insurance is included. For full coverage, optional upgrades are available.

• The renter is liable for:

  • Traffic fines and Salik (toll) charges

  • Damage due to negligence or misuse

  • Accidents not covered by insurance (e.g., under the influence of alcohol, unauthorized driver)

• A police report is mandatory in the event of any accident.

6. Security Deposit

• A refundable security deposit is required and will be held for up to 21 business days post return to cover any:

  • Fines

  • Damages

  • Late return fees

  • Additional mileage

• The amount depends on the vehicle category and is communicated at booking.

7. Vehicle Condition & Return

• The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as delivered.

• Late returns may incur additional charges.

• The vehicle must be returned with the agreed fuel level; otherwise, a refueling charge will apply.

• Smoking inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited and may result in a cleaning fee.

8. Breakdown & Emergency Support

• In the event of a breakdown, contact us immediately.

• 24/7 roadside assistance is available for mechanical issues not caused by misuse.

9. Privacy Policy

• Your personal data is collected only for rental purposes and handled according to UAE data protection laws.

• We do not sell or share your information with third parties without your consent.

10. Amendments

Eratiana Rent-a-Car reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be updated on our website and take effect immediately.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be settled in the courts of Dubai.
